We have implemented turbo decoder algorithm according to your turbo tutorial but its working correctly when input signal is given without noise.But, if we add noise to signal we are getting more errors. what might be the problem?

Hi,
I have question about the turbo decoder. I'm working with the 16-QAM modulator, so the soft input of my turbo decoder are LLRs of each bit not the soft value of each received bit (in the BPSK case). My question is that if I use the LLR values as soft input of the decoder, does it need any change in the decoding algorithm (I'm using LOG MAP decoder).
