In Tutorial 1 - Basic concepts ... (Fundamentals of Signals) Good write up but the conjugate clockwise statement is incorrect. >>"Changing the sign of the imaginary component rotates the number by 90 clock-wise and changing the sign of the real component by 90 in the counter clockwise direction."<< Each part can only be true if the imaginary and real have same magnitude (45 degrees from each axis) and the polarity is a certain way for each. Solution: Multiply by i to rotate counter-clockwise. Multiply by -i (divide by i) to rotate clockwise.
