If I have an AM spectrum, centered about it's carrier frequency, the left and right sidebands are a mirror image of each other. They contain the same information, so only one is ultimately necassary to recover 100% of the information.
However, if I have a QPSK spectrum, centered about it's carrier frequency, is it still true? Or rather, the two sidebands unique and therefore BOTH necassary for full recovery? I think that's true, right?
Is this true also true for BPSK, etc?
Does anyone know of a good PDF, tutorial, or web site that makes this point clear? Painfully, mathematically and graphically clear?
