Hiya,
I have implemented analogue QAM modulation and demodulation with an 80MHZ LO oscillator. I am suffering from cross talk on the I and Q channels after demodulation because my carrier on the demodulator is not phase synchronised.
Online sources suggest a Costas PLL is the solution. Unfortunately I have not found much on how it is implemented in hardware.
Any information on the subject would be much appreciated.
