The article I downloaded phase lock loop part 1 and part 2 are probably the best articles I have seen on the subject. I bought the book by best-Though I am frustrated with-a equation written on the page and not explicitly derived. One example is in answer to the question of how long the loop to track a phase error-


What book on phase lock loops discusses this topic?

Great article- I do hope the author writes a "advanced phase lock loop" book!
