Hi,
I want to know how I can model multipaths in Matlab simulations.
I know I need to use a filter. But I find it confusing.
Let's consider an example:
I have the following multipath profile:
0ns 15ns 32ns 50ns 70ns
10dB 1dB 5dB -1dB 7dB
And the sample duration of the samples transmitted into this channel are 10 ns.
This gives a 7 tap (=70/10) multipath filter with each tap spaced 10 ns appart.
The filter has a tap at 0 ns, 10ns, 20ns and so on.
But how exactly do we model multipath profile into our filter. Profile says we have a multipath at 15 ns and another at 32ns. But these multipaths fall between our filter taps.
