Hi Ms. Langton,
1. p11 of Trellis Coded Modulation tutorial uses feedback convolutional encoder instead of the feed forward ones described in the Conv. Code tutorial. Could you perhaps talk about the Trellis derivation for the feedback encoders ?
2. Related to above is Trellis for the above feedback encoder of Fig 13 of the TCM tutorial. Last para of p.11 says "starting with 0's in the memory and then putting in all three bit combinations through the registers"...Can you please clarify what you mean by putting in all three bit combinations - there are only 2 sets of input bits and likewise only 2 state bits..Perhaps addressing 1 will address this.
3. There seems to be some missing arrow(s) in Fig 18, p. 15 for th encoder diagram. Could you update.
