Tutorial about lattice

Hey,

I am confused about the Fig. 3. It seems the basic vector is not [1,1] and [1, -1] as [2,0]=[1,1]+[1,-1] is not a point in the figure?

Fig. 3 is RZ2 which is a rotated version of Z2. The basis vecotrs as listed are for Z2 latitice.
