I have another question on the chapter 7. page 141 Section 7.2 Modulation Responses. On equation 7.11 through 7.14. The author calculate the phase and frequency output by multiply the H(w) with sin(wt) type of function.
Am I understand correctly that he is multiply a frequency domain transfer function H(w) with a time domain sin(wt). can you do that? I thought you have to transform the sin(wt) to w/(s^2+w^2) before you can multiply it out.
I would really appreciate if someone can answer this and the question I posed on 3/24
