The tutorial on modulation part 1 describes 8PSK Page
29,30. How do we get the values 1.414 and 0.707 for
I and Q? TAN inverse of Q/I comes to 26.56degrees
and not 22.5 degrees?
For QPSK it is straight forward. TAN inverse Q/I which
is 1/sqrt(2) divided 1/sqrt(2) is 45 degrees.
