In referance to IEEE trans on information thoery vol.47 no.2 feb 2001 "Design of capacity-approaching Irregular LDPC" page 622 fig 2 . How is the shannon limit being calculated calculated and drawn with Eb/No and BER on x & y axis respectively, rate one-half. Secondly on page 623 example 1 BIAWGNC how is shannon bound being calculated for rate 8/9.
