Well i am also working on it as my final year project. I am also finding an answer to it. What i found, follows as under: 1 Chase Decoder Block 'feeds' on soft-output of de-modulator. So first demodulate and output with soft decisioning but don't be trapped by Viterbi soft decisioning. It is meant for Convolution Codes' decoding. 2 What mostly texts embark, the encoder be designed with BCH systematic codes. As they have higher correction capacity. 3 To decode with Chase II algorithm, you should know the decoding procedures and algorithms for BCH codes.
