I am a fourth year student for electrical engineering in Bar Ilan university in Israel.
I am doing a project on Turbo codes for a grade on a course of digital communication.
My question is about the tutorial Turbo Coding and MAP decoding-part 1.
In equation 1.24 you defined
This equation I can understand if P=Eb, but you defined it as P=rate=2
After that you defined Lc as
This equation for L channel goes well with P=rate=2 as you defined it, but again
I didn't understand that math.
