I think the tutorial on OFDM is an excellent and concept proving article. I compliment the author in dissecting a complex subject into simple modules of understanding.- A great job.

I found the tutorial in OFDM was very helpful, but didn't cover the reasoning behind using the IFFT over the FFT in the transmitter very well. Apart from that, I've used the examples in the ODFM tutorial several times to explain my thesis to people, and it was one of the first documents I read when doing my thesis.

Excellent tutorial, perfect for a Wimax novice. I wonder if we can have some examples of different modulations such as QPSK and 16QAM to go with it.

hi actually ifft is used to convert the wave form in the frequency domain to the time domain form...since we generally process the signal in real time onlyh

Hi,
Can anyone help me to write a program in matlab for OFDM technique in order to calculating BER using QPSK for multipath fading channel using Channel estimationand, and tell me why we need channel estimation.
